Mercy Regional Cancer Center Hosts
14th Annual Cancer Care Symposium
Port Huron, MI… Mercy Regional Cancer
Center is pleased to announce it will host the 14th Annual
Mercy Cancer Care Symposium, focusing on Female Malignancy.
The symposium is designed to provide primary care physicians,
surgeons, oncologists, gynecologists and other health care
professionals who treat or care for patients with cancer
an in depth educational activity featuring state-of-the-art
treatment protocols and clinical strategies for the prevention,
diagnosis and management of cancer.
Mercy’s Cancer Care Symposium will be held 8 a.m.
to 2 p.m., Saturday, November 12, in the Mercy Hospital
cafetorium. Five CME Category 1 Credits will be offered.
The event is sponsored in collaboration with the St. Clair
County CME Consortium. Mercy is the only oncology program
to host an annual cancer symposium providing continuing
cancer education to health care providers.
Local cancer care experts as well as specialists from across
Southeastern Michigan, including Wayne State University
and the University of Michigan, will present on a broad-range
of topics as they relate to female malignancy. The registration
deadline is Wednesday, November 9. For more information

of Surgeons has recently recognized the Mercy Regional Cancer
Center as offering the very best in cancer care.
