Mercy Invites Area Women to "Let's Celebrate Together" During Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Port Huron, MI…October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the Mercy Regional Cancer Center invites area breast cancer patients, survivors and guests to “Let’s Celebrate Together.” This FREE event will be held in the Mercy Hospital Baggot Street Café (cafetorium), Saturday, October 7, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event includes refreshments, informational booths and giveaways designed to enhance every woman’s understanding of breast cancer screening, diagnosis and treatment. A special presentation “Coping with Cancer” will be offered by Danni Spressor, LMSW, at 1 p.m. To make your reservation to attend, please call (810) 985-1484.
Wear Pink To Work Day….Mercy Regional Cancer Center invites all community members to join in with them to support Breast Cancer Awareness in October by simply wearing something pink to work. Wear Pink to Work Day is an unofficial show of community awareness and support, and will be held Thursday, October 19, 2006. Join the fun, go pink.
