MERCY HOSPITAL APPOINTS MANAGER OF CRITICAL CARE
Port Huron, MI...Mercy Hospital - Port Huron administration
is pleased to announce that Christie Sansom, RN, has been
named Manager of Critical Care. Sansom is a four-year hospital
staff nurse and has most recently served as the Manager
for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Interim Manager for
the hospital’s Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This position
combines both ICU and PCU services under the seamless direction
of one manager.
“Sansom has quickly established a rapport with the
members of the medical and nursing staffs in both units,”
comments Rita Lappin, RN, Director of Critical Care Nursing
and Outpatient Services. “Throughout her service as
manager, she has been instrumental in implementing modifications
with her team to ensure high-quality patient care.”
