MERCY HOSPITAL FUND DEVELOPMENT LEADER PROMOTED

Port Huron, MI...Mercy Hospital - Port Huron administration is pleased to announce that Sondra K. Briese was recently promoted to Manager of Fund Development at Mercy Hospital. Briese has been providing leadership for Mercy Hospital Fund Development activities since February 2004. She is responsible for a number of hospital fund raising events as well as the development of the Mercy Hospital Foundation. Her leadership efforts have generated tens of thousands of dollars benefiting Peoples’ Clinic for Better Health patients; Mercy Regional Cancer Center programs and services; and Body Recall, a YMCA-sponsored senior exercise program.

“Sondra Briese has shown outstanding leadership in the enhancement and evolution of Mercy’s Fund Development activities,” comments Peter Karadjoff, Mercy Hospital President and CEO. “She will be working directly with area leaders in the near future to develop and more fully realize the development and implementation of the Mercy Hospital Foundation.”
