Mercy Auxiliary Volunteer Organization Announces
2006 – 07 Scholarship Winners
Port Huron, MI…The Mercy Auxiliary Volunteer Organization (MAVO) is pleased to announce six local students have been awarded annual secondary education scholarships of $1,000 each to obtain healthcare related degrees. Congratulations are extended to:
- Angela Pisciotta, of Fort Gratiot Township: Saginaw Valley State University, Speech Pathology
- Jennie Sullivan, of Clyde Township: Baker College, Physical Therapy Assistant
- Lindsay Conlan, of Jeddo: Saginaw Valley State University, Nursing Science
- Jennifer Wessel, of Columbus Township: St. Clair County Community College, Nursing
- Alyssa Giroux, of Yale: Oakland University, Physician Assistant
- Jennifer Riehl, of Port Huron: Michigan State University, Speech Pathology
Each year, MAVO provides secondary education student scholarship opportunities through fund raising efforts held annually. MAVO has more than 250 members and has been actively involved in the community for more than 50 years.
