Mercy Hospital Medical Staff Announces New Leadership
Suresh R. Tumma, MD, Elected Chief Of Staff
Port Huron, MI…Mercy Hospital Medical Staff is pleased to announce its 2007-08 elected leadership positions. Beginning in 2007, Suresh R. Tumma, MD, will serve as Chief of the Mercy Hospital Medical Staff. He succeeds John I. Jarad, MD, who held the position from 2005 – 2006.
Board Certified in Cardiology, Dr. Tumma brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Mercy Hospital. He most recently served as the Medical Staff’s Vice Chief of Staff. He has been on staff at Mercy Hospital since 1999 and currently provides cardiac care through Cardiology Associates of Port Huron, PC. Prior to providing care at Mercy Hospital, he completed his cardiology fellowship at Sinai Hospital, Detroit Medical Center. He is also Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
