Father Paul Higdon Celebrates 60th Jubilee
The year 2006 marks an important anniversary in the life of Mercy Hospital Chaplain Father Paul Higdon; it is a celebration of the 60 years he continues to serve as a Catholic Priest.
Mercy Hospital Chaplain since 1984, Father Paul, who is 87 years old, visits patients regularly at Mercy each day. His office is located adjoining the hospital Chapel, where he offers Mass four times a week.
A dedicated community member, Father Paul also offers Mass at St. Mary Parish and the Guadalupe Mission, both in Port Huron. In addition to making visits to organizations throughout the community, he regularly makes calls on the residents of Mercy Marydale Center and The Village at Mercy Health Center.
