Express Medical Testing Available Monday at Mercy Hospital

Port Huron, MI…From high-speed internet access to “get and go” take-out dining, consumers are looking for high-quality services…NOW. Mercy Hospital is pleased to announce beginning Monday, June 5, Express Testing will be available through the hospital-based Outpatient Testing Center. This exciting new option will offer access to medical lab testing and X-ray services for those who want excellent service in a timely manner.

Access to Express Testing is provided with convenient, dedicated parking. Through Mercy Hospital’s streamlined services, patients can now simply walk in the hospital’s main entrance, visit the welcome station, present a physician’s order slip, and enjoy the Express Testing experience. Express Testing lab tests include, but are not limited to, blood thinner level and diabetic sugar levels. Services are available Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

“This service is based on Mercy’s proven record of Express Testing success at Mercy Health Center, in Fort Gratiot,” comments Danette Hayman, Mercy Hospital Chief Operating Officer. “Express Testing Services at Mercy Health Center have been available for two years, and have offered a proven record of service that patients appreciate. With the redesign of the main lobby, and dedication to streamlining services, we’re pleased to now offer this service directly at Mercy Hospital.”

Express Testing services are also available to patients by appointment for services including ultrasound, mammography and bone density testing.
