PARTNERS AT HEART HOSTS FREE HEART HEALTHY COOKING SCHOOL & LAUNCHES HEARTLINK SUPPORT GROUP IN DECKERVILLE

Deckerville, MI…Partners at Heart and Deckerville Community Hospital are pleased to host “See What’s Cooking for Your Heart”. This presentation will offer information on cooking and eating healthy meals that are simply good for your heart. Sometimes it’s hard to know what’s fact and what’s fiction when it comes to heart healthy foods. Join Dietician Noreen Derer as she helps you understand food labels and how to choose foods more wisely. Port Huron Hospital Chef Dave Straney will also be on hand to offer a few delicious heart healthy soups and salads. This FREE cooking school will be held Thursday, May 11, at 5:30 p.m., at Deckerville Community School, 2633 Black River Street, Deckerville.

In addition to obtaining outstanding heart healthy information, Partners at Heart and Deckerville Community Hospital will introduce area residents to the new HeartLink Cardiac Support Group. This support group will meet every month and is designed to provide outstanding information to cardiac care patients.
