Mercy’s Pink Ribbon Event to Benefit Area Women in Need
 Dust off the golf clubs ladies. It’s time to pull your teams together for the 2007 Mercy Pink Ribbon Ladies’ Day event.
Mercy Hospital Foundation is pleased to host the twelfth annual event focused on women. This year’s golf outing will again be held at Fore Lakes Golf Club with all proceeds to benefit women in need of advanced breast cancer diagnosis.
Each year, nearly 150 local women gather to support other women in need through this fun-filled day of golf. Profits raised provide for those in our community who are uninsured and lack the resources to pay for their care. Last year’s event supported several area women who needed additional diagnostic testing and care after receiving a positive mammogram for breast cancer.
In addition to the nine-hole golf scramble, women attending the event are treated to breakfast, an outstanding lunch and have the opportunity to participate in exciting golf cart decorating and spirit competitions.
Local women’s product vendors display their wares, and women’s health education is provided. The cost of the event is $75 per person.
