Mercy Names Associate of the Year
 |
| Congratulations are extended to Ann Bowen, Receptionist/Greeter, who was named the Mercy Hospital 2007 Associate of the Year. |
Heralded as an individual who, “consistently and continually embodies the ideals of the Mercy Hospital Mission, as well as echoing the pattern established some 170 years ago by Sister Catherine McAuley, foundress of the first Mercy Hospital on Baggot Street, in Dublin Ireland.” Mercy Hospital is pleased to announce that Ann Bowen, of Goodells Township, Greeter/Receptionist has been named the 2007 Mercy Associate of the Year.
This employee recognition program is held each year in September during Mercy Week, an annual celebration of the heritage of Mercy Hospital.
During the week, 11 associates, who have been designated Associate of the Month, are considered for the annual award by all hospital staff, with the winner announced during a tea held in their honor.
Ann, who has been a Mercy Hospital associate since 1997, and was nominated by the volunteers with whom she works, couldn’t be more pleased with the award. “I’m very honored and excited,” comments Ann. “To be recognized for what I do everyday is very nice.”
Ann’s nominators couldn’t agree more. “By her demeanor, her welcome, her professional attitude and her knowledge of the complicated array of services at the hospital, she sets the tone for real hospitality and providing true hospitality is a hallmark of Mercy Hospital.” |
