HEALTH TIP
Walk for Your Life

Doctors have long known that a regular walking program is the best treatment for peripheral artery disease (PAD). It not only decreases symptoms such as leg pain, but improves overall health.

Any kind of physical activity can also offer protection against heart attack and stroke. A study of 460 men and women with an average age of 72 found that those with the highest activity levels were three times less likely to die than those with lowest levels.
