Peoples’ Clinic For Better Health Receives St. Clair County Health Department Contribution
Port Huron, MI… Representatives of the St. Clair County Health Department recently paid a visit to the Peoples’ Clinic for Better Health and presented the clinic with a financial donation of more than $1,300 to help support clinic operations as well as provide a contribution of over-the-counter medications for distribution to clinic patients.
The Peoples’ Clinic for Better Health is cosponsored by the St. Clair County Medical Society and Mercy Hospital and is funded in part by the United Way of St. Clair County. The clinic provides free medical care to residents of St. Clair County who lack health insurance and have no financial resources to pay for their care. Contributions such as this one provided, by the St. Clair County Medical Society, is another outstanding example of community organizations stepping forward to provide support to those in greatest need.
