There is an exceptional new option for outpatient surgery in the Blue Water Area. Lakeshore Surgery Center, LLP, a joint venture between Mercy Hospital and local surgeons, provides an extensive array of services, including:

Located within the Mercy Health Center, in Fort Gratiot, Lakeshore Surgery Center began performing procedures in May 2004. It is fully licensed by the State of Michigan; and has been awarded a three-year accreditation by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO). Most medical health insurances are accepted.

Patients who undergo procedures at Lakeshore Surgery Center receive the same type of outstanding care they are accustomed to in the hospital setting. The only difference is that the center is clinically focused on outpatient surgery.
