Mercy Hospital’s Pain Management clinic provides dedicated staff and physicians, trained in the management of acute and chronic pain syndromes. Each patient is evaluated, and an individual treatment plan is developed to meet specific needs. Services are provided for a variety of conditions, including:

• Low back pain
• Neck pain
• Headaches
• Muscle pain
• Arthritis pain
• Pain as a result of Shingles
• Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD)

Pain control methods focus on interventional pain management. Some of the methods include:

• Cervical, Thoracic and Lumbar Epidural steroid injections
• Lumbar Sympathetic blocks
• Lysis of Epidural adhesions
• Trigger point injections
• Radiofrequency lesioning
