Community Resources make the Difference
Mercy Hospital is dedicated to providing care to the poor
and underserved and this is evidenced by its continuing
commitment to the Peoples’ Clinic. The clinic has
been providing outstanding medical care to the uninsured,
working poor since 1991. As always, resources are scarce
and greatly needed. If you would like to provide support
to the Peoples’ Clinic, there are a variety of programs
in which you can participate.
The Mercy Hospital Foundation
works tirelessly to provide needed financial resources to
the clinic and meet the needs of its patients. Giving opportunities
are always available. For more information, please call
the Mercy Hospital Foundation office at (810) 987-1047.
Volunteer opportunities abound at the clinic. Professional
volunteers are needed as well support staff. If you are
a social worker, clinical care provider or a physician who
would like to volunteer your time and talent in fulfillment
of your commitment to a healing profession and the advancement
of a healthy community, please contact the Peoples’
Clinic.
