High-tech Mammography
Women of all ages can benefit from the Mercy Women's Health
Center. Traditionally, Mercy has offered women's care through
its Breast Care Center. This center offers services such
as:
- discrete and private dressing rooms
- two mammography suites for convenience
- stereotactic breast biopsy
- an ultrasound testing suite
- a bone density testing suite
In addition to providing stereotactic breast biopsy, the
Mercy Women's Health Center also offers mammotone testing,
which provides for more exact biopsy results allowing you
access to state-of-the-art medical care in a center which
makes you feel like you are at home.
Mercy's commitment to quality breast care is also enhanced
by its ability to store and maintain breast mammography
film for a patient's entire lifetime. Additionally, mammography
films will be sent wherever the patient requests.
